Fitting my inagural post would be about beer! :)
Have you tried the beer nut? 13th(ish) and State. I have not been in there yet (been using my Mr. Beer kit) but their site a lot of good info. www.beernut.com.
My last batch was dark larger (the winter batch) - it came out Ok, the taste is really nice (malty and mildly hoppy) but I over-carbonated by a hair. It was only a lager in terms of time, I didn't actually go to the trouble of doing cold fermentation.
I need to get my spring brew going! |

I love the first post, that is great, now I need to brew some beer myself.... I love the hefe's and especially the hefe at Iggy's Bluesberry!!!! |
