| I recently built a semi-custom 7mm Rem. Mag and have been working up some reload data. I think I figured out the load when I went shooting this morning. After cleaning my gun my first shot is the one up and right. Then next four all went through the same hole. The 4 shot group measures at .045"! This is by far my best group ever so I thought it only right to share. |

Nice shooting! so are you into sharing the load?

Sure. I am using 64.2gr of IMR7828, Federal Match large magnum primers, 168gr. Berger VLD bullets with Federal Premium Brass cut to 2.490". Bullets are seated 3 thousandths off the lands/grooves. My gun is a Remington 700 PSS with a 26" and 1/9.5 twist barrel. That load gets me just over 3000 fps.
What is your 22/250? I will get my load that I shoot in mine and post it later. I know I am shooting Winchester 760 ball powder, but don't remember how much right now, Hornady V-max 50gr. bullets, Federal Match Primers, and Federal Premium brass. I haven't been loading those for a little while so I will have to look to see how much powder and brass Length. Bullets are
seated 3 thousandths of the lands/grooves. I shoot a Remington VSF with a 28" barrel and 1/14 twist. They are shooting at 3625 fps. |

I shoot a Weatherby SVM, The 22-250 load is 55 grain nossler spitzer, Federal 210 primer, Winchester brass trimmed to 1.912", IMR4895 34.0 grains and aol at 2.50". I have not shot through a chronograph but should be at 3600fps. It needs to be tuned a little but is close. |
