Welcome to the forum Lisa! There are plenty of people here willing to give you tips and advice on where to go hiking and camping. You can just make a post in those forums, and people will be glad to help you out.

PS, don't let the guys here drive you nuts! It's good to have some more females on board.

Welcome Lisa!

You'll have to fight Savanna for the title of "Southern Belle" -- preferably in a kiddie pool full of chocolate pudding! :lol8: :haha:

Welcome to the site. You'll find that Utah is a helluva lot less vegetated than Florida, but I wouldn't trade our slickrock for anything!!

I didn’t realize there were Catholics in Utah… :roflol: Kidding

So where is a good "beginners" hike (in the SL area)? Not to easy but something to get me started.

Accidentally stumbled across antelope island a few weeks ago. Didn’t stay long and wasn’t prepared for anything other than walking on the shore, but looks perfect. Thanks!!
