Strawberry & Scofield are usually hot spots to fish thru the ice. I have also seen people at Deer Creek. I usually go up to Strawberry once during the winter. I get all cooped up in my house so I say what the Hell. Then I get all excited at Sportsman’s Warehouse buying bait. Shortly after I freeze my tail off and don’t catch a thing on the trip. That’s usually all it takes to get me to forget about fishing for a few more months.

I have been told that there are some nice spots up at Bear Lake. We could plan a trip up there to freeze our nads off. I even have a cute little pole and everything. I just don’t have a good auger. My Dad has a hand one and you probably couldn’t cut a sandwich with it.

The last time I went I was spent before we started fishing. Then there’s those beer bellied punks with the gas-powered jobs that just go bzzzt and they have a nice hole.
