Do any of you know a local pool (Salt Lake vicinity), where a few scouts can go and learn the canoeing merit badge?

Hope it's not too late. The SLCC pool (on State) let us in to kayak one time. Don't remember how much it cost, however. Hope this helps.

I heard Sandy City is building an "urban fishery" with about a 3 acre pond on the Jordan river. They said non motorized boats will be allowed on it, but it won't be open until 2007. I'll see if i can find the article.

Thanks. I think what we're looking for is a place to do it and someone who's a qualified instructor to teach the class.
