| Do any of you know a local pool (Salt Lake vicinity), where a few scouts can go and learn the canoeing merit badge? |

| Hope it's not too late. The SLCC pool (on State) let us in to kayak one time. Don't remember how much it cost, however. Hope this helps. |

| I heard Sandy City is building an "urban fishery" with about a 3 acre pond on the Jordan river. They said non motorized boats will be allowed on it, but it won't be open until 2007. I'll see if i can find the article. |

Thanks. I think what we're looking for is a place to do it and someone who's a qualified instructor to teach the class. |
