Where is this arch? I did one that looks similar after Medieval Chamber, and never knew the name of the arch, just wondering if that is the same one |

So now that I am running Vista the resizer PowerToy nolonger works.
Is there any other way to resize multiple images out there? Any suggestions for other fast resizing options?

Uranium Arch is on sevenmile rim. About 40 feet high. |

Anybody have any cool picture/image editting tools out there? I can't believe how long I've been using Paint! That took me at the least 30 seconds per pic, but multiply that by 100 at a time.
No more!
yest IM replying to a post thats pretty damned old!
Just had a valid point to add.
I found this thread looking for some info on avatar creation, the restrictions on avatar sizes make it a pain in the butt to resize and fix with paint. With my best friend google, I found this:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/resize.php
in seconds it will resize and give you a avatar appropriate picture, choose the size you want, browse your machine for the right pic, click submit, and avatar created.
Much better than the way I used to do it and so much faster and eliminates the guess work in it all. |

Here's something to look into, I use it just for renaming and resizing mass pics. But, it has a lot more to offer.

Picasa 2 free from Google will resize, it also makes posting pics online super easy. It took me a bit of figuring out since they make it for people who don't know how to use a computer, but you can change the views so it's easier for those of us who actually do know how to use a computer. Just select all the pics you want to resize, it will show down in the bottom how many have been selected, then click "Export" in the bottom right, it will copy all the photos to a new folder resized at whatever size you choose (you can also just click "web album" and it resizes and uploads them to your online account just as easy)

Oh, one more thing, I use Vista also and it works on mine. |

Recently a pro photographers forum changed formats to one that no one likes, and the membership is scurrying like cockroaches for other forums. One that I like belongs to a photographer named Brooks Ayola. If anyone here is interested, check it out... http://www.prophotoforums.com/
