This baby gives me a woody everytime I look at it! I would love to own one if they built this! :2thumbs: :2thumbs: This is what they really need to build (IMO) not some redesigned Chevy Impala (the new one) with a new grill.

| I agree, the front-end on this one is more true to the original. The one with the Cadillac grille is just not what I would expect to see when I think of a Camaro. |

What the heck are these cars.... just some pretty pics with no explaination? I like this front end much better. But I like the GM car from the A-piller back more then this.

Mr. Iceaxe sir, I just lost some respect for your taste! This baby is badass! You don't want a cookie-cutter car like all the rest...or do you? I couldn't envision a better design that is more retro-camaro for the 21st century.
Some young(er) kid designed this car as an idea for the new camaro. This is what I can recall from what I read in the first news article that I saw for it. I first saw this 1-2 years ago.
It looks all :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs: to me!
Yeah, I know, it is my opinion... |

It ain't bad...
I always hate the concept drawings. You cant see the true lines with that colored pencil crap. |

Didn't say it wasn't bad.... I like the Chevy Hugger Orange, but other then the front end it doesn't scream Camero to me. The green house looks like something from Toyota. The back end is nice but has absolutely no ties to the older Cameros (73 and earlier). The rear seat would not be possible with the roof line shown..... which is a big problem with concept drawings, they are not usually practical.
The roof line of the GM car screams 1st gen F-body, same with the wheel humps at the C-piller. And its a car that has actaully been built so tech problems like rear seat and fitting the engine under the hood line have all been worked out.
GM just needs to can that stupid grin  |

I really hope that GM doesn't build this exact design...just not appealing t me at all. You are right, mostly it is the front end.
It really irks me when car builders bring back a legendary muscle car (sorry Iceaxe, but the new GTO is just a Pontiac Grand Prix/AM to me, though it does have good power) as something cheesy/half-ass just to make a buck off the name. If they do a poor job with the new design, it hurts them. I mean, if they really tried, they might just revive their ailing names, and make a comeback. It's not that hard really...but they make it so. If you make something so badass, so cool, so hip, it generates interest from all around, and can even help sell other cars in the lineup, just because some people start to think that the automaker is hip, cool, or on the right track again.
GM, Ford, Chrysler....are you listening????????????????? |

| I have a BIG problem with the retro designs..... I mean I really like them..... but if the factories did a better job with styling they wouldn't need to go retro to sell cars. |
