My Dad called me up today and asked me if I wanted to go for a hike. He had to break in his new snowshoe boots, and it seemed like a nice warm day.
We just hiked up to the where the stream crosses the trail. It took 1hr 20 min.
It was really nice once we got above the smog and into the bright sun.
I know there are a lot of hikes I don't think of doing until May, and I think I miss out on the beauty these places have during the different times of the year. |

| There is no snow until you get quite a bit higher in the mountains. Its hitting about 50 degrees down in the valley and on the benches right now, all of our snow is melted. |
