Had a great day :2thumbs:

It was so warm that I ended up with just base layer and shell, even with the wind :cool2:

About 6.8 Mi. round trip and a great day all around. The hike took us 4.5 hours which isn't too bad for snow travel. Spent a lot of time stopping for pics on the way up and none on the way down so it averaged out. the snowshoes never came out, although the ice axes did for the section between the bridge and Calypso Cascades. It was the steepest section of the route and snow was drifting over the trail. That wouldn't have been so bad but it was about a 60 degree slope right into the creek. It wouldn't have killed us but the trip would have been over at that point and with the wind it would have really sucked to have to change into the dry spares that were in my drybag. :frustrated:

Enjoy the pics.
