Throwing this out there.
Does anyone out there have a diesel powered trail rig?
I once had an 84 toyota, man I wish I hadn't let it go, that I always wanted to outfit with a small diesel motor. I'd have set it up as a long-distance adventure base with the capability to scale some of the standard crawler trails.
What do you run?
Is your ride a purpose-built trail rig or a daily driver?
What would you have done differntly?
Its winter, the garage has some room, who knows, perhaps I can talk m'lady into some project funds. |

I have a few friends that will be attempting putting a Cummins 4BT in a Cherokee next year. We'll see how that goes  |
