www.yakpacking.com
The sport of kayaking and backpacking merged into one. The site for the latest gear, photos, trip info, ideas, low prices, and tall tales! I hope that you enjoy your stay, and find something useful here. This website is maintained in order to coordinate outdoor activities. You'll find maps, journals, pictures and route descriptions for trips. This is a new website and we are just starting out so any help would be appreciated. You can leave messages on the message board. Thanks!

I have only been kayaking once (down in Moab) and absolutely loved it. I wanted to purchase a kayak but my wife feared that if I did, I would never spend time with the family again.
I am really looking forward to learning when and where are the best times and places to kayak. My one and only adventure took place the first week in June so the river was high and moving quickly.
Growing up in Michigan, I had the opportunity to do a lot of canoeing. That was fun, but I found kayaking to be a lot more exciting.
So, teach me! |
