| I am looking for something simple to allow me to edit video clip lengths and be able to add text to my videos. Any recommendations? |

If you want free it would have to be windows movie maker...
for me I really like sony vegas pro 8 and i'm parcial to premiere pro cs3 but for that your talking big bucks... unless you know the way around it :haha: |

| I liked movie maker on my pc. I have not learned how to use the video software on my MacBook yet. |

Yeah, if you're going for free software that's already installed on your PC, go Windows Movie Maker.
Mess around with it a bit, it will do 90% of what you need.
Depending on the final application, if you are just putting it on the web; YouTube has a "Remix" feature that sounds like you can edit your uploaded videos. I haven't tried it yet though. |

I too will also say Movie Maker since you're looking for something simple.
Adobe for the better stuff, just not that simple :haha: |
