Me, Cam, Leroy, Dave
Trailhead at 8am, peak at noon. We hung out and ate lunch for about an hour, then started down at 1. We got to the parking lot at 3:20.
16.4 miles round trip, I forget the elevation gain, but I believe it was around 3800 ft?
We were treated with 6 Mountain Goats @100' from the peak as we're eating lunch. I did the best I could with my 3X zoom.
heavy photo content... don't worry, I took 220 pics and reduced it to 59. |

Dang! That's a big blister! :five:
I wish we had some green to hike in. We did 11 miles today on a dirt road in SoCal. It was about 1800 ft elevation and super hot the entire time with no shade.
Your hiking place is beautiful! Thank for sharing. :2thumbs: |

Great Pics!
This is on my to-do-list, but venture just a bit further and bag the Weber County Highpoint, Willard Peak.
I hope I see some goats! |

That blue compression sleeve on my arm is for my Bursitis in my elbow, I've gotta wear that for @ 2 more weeks.
That blister was on Cam's foot. That's dirt. :haha:
I was looking at the trail for biking, it'd be a good one. Tough climb though. We passed about 4 groups of bikers. It would be a riot to bomb down though. |

Perhaps shuttling to the top of Willard peak and riding over to Ben Lomand and then down to the devide might be a little more tempting. :ne_nau: |
