Hi, my name is Joel. I heard about this site from DiscGo and CarpeyBiggs. I am a recovering couch potato yearning for my younger days of outdoor fun. I love to ride my bicycle (in a Freddy Mercury voice). I love the mountains. I love Utah.

My wife and I put the tv in the garage for the summer, and I signed up for my first triathlon last week, to help me get back into "it".

I just read a thread entitled "this is non-violent revolution", I have to say wow, very interesting. I can see this is not the average forum. I think I'm going to love it here. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Joel is one of my very best friends. We have worked in Alaska together since 2000, and we have had some great adventures.

Here are Joel and I jumping off the highest bridge in Juneau Alaska.

Joel-

Now that you are on the site, can you please tell us the finer points of cliff jumping and maybe a couple of quick tips for boxing? :roflol:

Thanks for the warm welcome! Especially Dan. As far as the tips you requested Dan, I highly recommend keeping your legs tightly together when cliff diving and maybe even cross your legs. Also, if you are boxing with your friend just for fun, always try to cheap shot them when they least expect it... :D

Me and Dan have had awesome good times together over the years, and hopefully many more in the future. Thanks again Dan for turning me onto the site!
