So Im heading up to the uintas friday afternoon. Got a kid in the parade so I cant leave after work thursday, but Im sure getting out after the parade and after his 5th birthday party.
I saw a story earlier today that said alot of the campgrounds in the uintas are under heavy snow, but it didnt say what ones, or how high you can get before running into frozen lakes and needing a shovel in order to set up a tent.
Anyone been up that way yet? driven through recently? any information at all?
No rivers this trip, this is my soon to be 5 year old sons birthday camping trip. Lakes only, maybe sneak down to the upper provo for a bit of fishing if its nto running to fast, but thats about it.
Anyone give me any help, any info at all? or am I best off to just call the kamas ranger district office and see what they can tell me?
Thank ya in advance.
