Wondering what snow is like? How much around what elevation? How much snow around Mirror Lake? Thanks.

I climbed to the top of Flat Top mountain between The Henry's Fork and Red Castle (Smiths Fork) drainages. There was just a little snow under the trees at the 10700 mark - the peak was snow free at 12000. The trailheads for both Henry's Fork and Red Castle were full of cars. The mountains are ready and pretty snow free - just the high passes might have a big drift or two. I will try to get a link to some pics later. I didn't get to the Mirror lake area, but since I was in the most impressive and highest areas of the range I can imagine that the mirror lake area is snow free as well. The bugs are about a 3 out of 5 on the "crazy" scale. They are a little annoying in spots, but I didn't feel that they would cut a trip short or make me insane. I didn't stay the night, but did an 18 mile day hike, so can't say for sure on the bugs.
