Can you guys suggest a hike in the Wasatch or somewhere close where dogs are permitted? It also can't be too demanding because of the toddler coming along. Thanks a bunch!

Mill Creek canyon allows dogs. Clean up after the dog though because if the problem gets worse it will put preasure on declaring/speading up the canyon as a water shed.

I'm assuming you probably already know about Tanner Park but if not, definitely check it out, it's the ultimate dog haven for the Salt Lake area. Not too much more than maybe a mile or two of hiking but a good way to kill a couple hours watching the pups having fun in the water.

Corner Canyon is dog friendly... some nice dog and kiddie hikes in the area.

(In other words; where's the best canyon to meet hiker girls?)

(Even unshaven hippy girls would be alright as long as they hike.)

Suggestion take a cool dog hiking. The ladies will flock. :five: I'd take my late siberian husky hiking and the single ladies would have to stop, pet my dog, and talk. It works. :nod:

Can't have pets here (I need to buy a home). Does the animal shelter let you borrow pets for a day? Like a pet library. I just need a dog for hiking occasionally. :roflol:

Actually they do. They need people to walk the dogs. Usually though its out on their front lawn or local park. I don't know how they'd feel if you wanted to take a dog hiking up a canyon.

Don I can lend you one of my cats. Would that work? Do ladies dig cats on a trail? Anyway, in return I only expect you to groom it well.

We're doing the Big Water trail on Saturday. Yeah! The dog is certainly no swimmer so maybe mountains are his thing.

I did not think you can have dogs up CC. I was tossed out of there with my dog a while back by a cop. The trail across from the equestrian park....up to where you run into the old dirt road and creek/falls/water thingy...is as far as I was told you can go.
