Besides the very, very, very bad incident... it was a decent ride tonight.
Here are some pics of the 8 of us. |

Damn, been lurking for a little while on here and have been enjoying reading all the old trip reports, especially enjoyed greyhair's thread on the progress of that trail build last year. Felt that this was as good a time as any for a first post.
Hope the bones heal soon and sorry to hear about the crash, on a positive note, at least there aren't any really pemanent injuries that, judging by the ones you did sustain, there could have been. Regardless, always sucks to hear of someone getting messed up pursuing this activity we love so much. No doubt it's worth it for all the good times, but still, something we could all do without. Best of luck on the road to recovery! |

After the crappy misfortune for Greyhair, five of us continued on to finish the ride. Here are a few pics from the rest of the ride.

| Greyhair, can you tell us what happened ? After riding your bike in the parking lot, I am guessing it was the combination brake /shifters that accidentally caused the endo. Get well soon ! :ride: |

| I vaguely remember my front wheel jamming a rock, my left hand slipping from the bars, and thinking"I'm going down"....then all hell broke loose. |
