| sorry, no pics...but I am sitting on my front porch swing listening to Dokken and Bret Michaels in concert not a 1000 yards away down over the hill in the park. Surprisingly good stuff. Just chillin & enjoying the tunes -- and checking the forum. :2thumbs:    |

| When I as fairly young a friend of mine who grew up in the bush and had a much deeper passion for the outdoors than I, made a big deal about how wrong it is to listen to music in the woods instead of listening to nature. Due to his vocal opinion, I honestly never have. I can see that you wouldn't want to always listen to music in the outdoors and miss the sounds but I can also see that adding music could be wonderful. I am going to stop myself here before I go on to a long rant, but thanks for making this post. You have inspired me. |

:lol8: :lol8: :lol8: You too huh?! It's still going! I'm really surprised cause the country concert was over by just after 10:00pm last night. I live on the lower end of Colorado St., so I've practically got a front row seat too.
Great weather for an outdoor concert up here....to bad it's only gonna last for another 4 weeks...<sigh> |

:five: yeah, I forgot to tell you when you inquired about the area that we have this kinda stuff going on all summer long. Between the Sweetwater Speedway, the rodeos, concerts, River Festival the end of august, you could be busy all summer :2thumbs:
...BTW, I thought DOKKEN did a much better job than Bret Michaels - sounded better anyway. |

| Im close enough to where the Tooele arts festival is going on that i can hear all the music. Id much prefer to hear what your hearing, but I never have liked Dokken, not even in the 80s when anyone knew who they were :haha: |

| It sure was quiet in town this morning...lots of hangovers I'd imagine :haha: My middle son Drew is out with the city cleanup crew...cleaning up after the concert. That would suck. |
