That last game was OUT OF CONTROL. That goes for both teams. The Lakers showed no pride at the end. The game was all but over yet they kept letting the Celtics dunk and 3 pt. show continue. They should have knocked someone on their rear to send a message.
Then Garnett taking 1/2 an hour to get off the court when he was subbed out, GET OFF THE COURT. Then Pierce dumping gatorade all over the court, c'mon...
Anyway, I'm sure the Jazz agree, they were watching the finals AGAIN. |

| Well, I was a Lakers fan in the Kareem/Magic era. I hated the Celtics then. Maybe I still do. I hate the Lakers worse, because of Kobe, but I guess he proved he was no MJ in that series. |

I'm a huge Lakers/Kobe fan and it's hard to argue with that. People are pointing out that MJ never had a series against a team as stacked as that. But even saying that...Kobe had a pretty poor series... |

Man, I don't know how anyone could say that. MJ played against the Magic Johnson-led Lakers and beat them--that team also had James Worthy, Vlade Divac, and Byron Scott. Also, he beat the Celtics with Bird, McHale, and Parrish. And don't forget the Pistons when they were the Bad Boys and had a whole host of great players---and were probably even better defensively than the current Celtics team. Of course both the Pistons and the Celtics were in the semis. In 91-92 the Bulls beat the Blazers with Drexler, Terry Porter, Cliff Robinson, Buck Williams, and Ainge. The Suns team the Bulls beat included Barkley, Dan Majerle, Kevin Johnson, Tom Chambers, and again, Ainge. Maybe the Sonics with Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp were not as stacked as the current Celtics team (although they did have Sam Perkins and Detlef Schrempf, but I think the others were. |
