Good news for anyone visiting Las Vegas over the holidays..... which means you BYZoo fans heading for the Las Vegas Bowl....
Word is that Gold Strike Hot Springs and Calico Basin (also known as Red Springs) have both reopened. Word is the trailhead for Gold Strike Hot Springs in now paved. The bad news - The main hot spring pool was destroy by a recent storm. Rumor has it a group of volunteers will try to resurrect the pool.
Calico Basin has a new parking lot, covered picnic tables, and a boardwalk. Currently this is NOT a fee area.
