I've been to a lot of these fests/rondies/slot orgies.... and this was certainly one of the better ones.... we had enough talent and leadership to keep everyone involved and safe.... there was enough freedom that things always felt laid-back and friendly.... and enough people took some responsibility for a small part of the project that no one person was left to eat an elephant sandwich by themselves.

No, I just thought that once I did a few canyons, I'd join the rest of the canyoneers and just start disagreeing with you. :lol8: |

I kinda liked the separate threads. There were seperate groups doing separate things... :ne_nau:
And some of those are kinda off noobfest topics, or side topics, one thread with all that would seem confusing wouldn't it? |

Maybe if someone went through and prefixed all the titles with something like...
Zion fest 08... or something...
It would make future searches a little easier.

I just thought it would be nice to have an "easy overview" of what went on this weekend; not a location to upload additional pics or anything.
I still like the separate threads too, so we can comment on each canyon or event. If we posted all of the pics in one thread called "Noobfest" or something, it would be an absolute mess, 25 pages long.
This is just a mini trip report index, and those individual threads can continue to be commented on and replied to. |
