2-3 night driving trips from St George area. Until ~October, trying to get to areas like Loa (not over 8,000 ft) and lower temps.
Looked at about everything available and sale at Sportman's Warehouse (-$50.) got me. Now having some 'buyer's remorse' . Alternatives were Eureka Titan, Kelty Mantra 7 and Big Agnes Bighouse 6. Will always be close to car so weight is not an issue.
I'm sure there are many very positive Springbar and Kodiak users out there. I'm wondering if there are some really 'unhappy' users who would argue strongly against this tent. Please bear (pardon the pun) in mind that our hot, dry climate reduces much of the mildew problem some other areas may have.
I sure hope some can provide some useful help and advice!!
