Planning a trip to the Newfoundland and Silver Island Mountains next month. No major wheeling, just sightseeing, ghost-towning and some hiking. My route itinerary is dependent on the Lucin cutoff road from Lakeside to Lucin. I know many that have traveled the route in the past, including myself on a section of it. But what is the status as of late? Open? Closed? Thanks in advance!
