Wearing your psychedelic T-shirt?
I'm wearing my psychedelic pants!

And last weekend, a gaping hole materialized near the right shoulder. DB finally put her foot down and retired it...right to a trashcan. Another one, a brilliantly colored one with a huge 'Steal Your Face' logo, should be arriving via USPS any day now...
I CAN believe it! The pictures that Tanya posted of you in the holy-tye-dye showed evidence of overuse and it was clear that it was very near time for a proper burial or burning. I'm not surprised that DB retired it!
YOU are gonna LOVE my pants! I had these things sittin in a drawer for the longest time (I was too lazy to sew em by hand) but now I have a sewing machine and I gotta a new cool pair of colorful pants to wear! :)
Bummer bout your shirt though...now I'm gonna feel outta place...all psychedelic lookin. Does DB have any psychedelic clothes she can wear? :hippy:
Hey, check your "other" e-mail - it's important! I sent you a message from my work e-mail. |

Naaah, she hasn't bought into the whole tye-dye thing, though she can groove to String Cheese with the best of 'em! She still thinks tye-dye's a little "busy."
Checking my email now... |

Tom is exaggerating..... most of this crap is only 10 years old. :lol8:
But yeah…. Now’s a good time to stop carrying around grudges in little brown paper bags.
And for the noob’s playing along at home….. When canyoneering first took off as a sport there was a lot of infighting about who would control the sport, who’s ethics would dominate (the bolt wars were a major), what direction the sport would take, what should be taught, what was the correct method, who should teach it, what should be betaed, how should beta be dispensed..... But the way I see it the pie has pretty well been sliced up and eaten…. Any fighting now is over crumbs and is pretty much wasted effort.

Hadn't you heard, Tom??

Dear Garrison
They've abruptly shut down the Chatterbox. Did you know they were going to do this? Did you give permission or approval? Do you know why they did it?

I asked the website manager to shut down the Chatterbox so as to give it a rest, John. It's become a rather tiny inbred chat room and not particularly interesting. I hadn't looked at it for years and then one day I did and I found the chitchat sort of dopey, nothing inviting to an outsider surfing by, nothing relevant to anything that takes place on the show or on public radio, just a tiny club of cronies ribbing each other. So we'll give it a rest and try to figure out how to run an interactive room in which people can speak freely but where private chatter is edited out. So shoot me. I thought it was dumb. |
