I just returned from a great trip to Hawaii and Got to spend a few hours fishing. We just rented a boat and some gear, then begged for advice on the fishing. We managed to hook up with this one about 36" and 24 lbs. We took 1/2 back to the condo for a fish barbeque. It doesn't get any fresher than that. I was a bit dissapointed not to get a dorado, but I'll settle for this one.

Looks like a lot of fun. I can only dream of fishing the ocean someday.

Great looking fish.

Holy Schneiky!!! That is a damn good looking fish man! Being so long I bet he put up a great fight. At least that was my experience. Longer ones seem friskier than the fat stubby guys.

Sounds like he was good eating too.

Yeah, he fought pretty good. The rental equipment was set up for a fighting harness, but they didn't give us one, so I had this sharp pointy rod digging into my soft underbelly. I didn't notice it much at the time but I bruised up the next day. It was all worth it though. :2thumbs:
