Good luck man, I'm right there with you, 2 weeks.
When you check the ingredients, you'll see there's sugar in almost EVERYTHING. So you might have better luck limiting yourself to 20 grams of carbs per day.
Crystal Light single serve packets and a liter bottle of water have been good to me (except when I have diet mtn dew)
You'll find all kinds of sugar free stuff, it just may give you the sheetz. |

You know, I keep hearing bad stuff about the aspartame & phenalanawhatever, and I'm starting to not believe it.
Some people say it turns to formaldehyde at room temperature? I'm not too sure about that either.
I think sugar in the same dosage does more damage. |

Sounded like a good round number. Straight sugar in the form of candy/soda/cakes etc will be no problem. The difficult thing will be to avoid sugar in things like bbq sauce, salad dressings, breads, etc. Sugar is in EVERYTHING!!
I think this is way cool. I really hope you do well! |

Ya, I'm not buying into the whole artificial sweetener scare. I have yet to see one case of art. sweetener-related cancer or other malady. But on the other hand, the ill effects from eating too much sugar are everywhere and well documented: obesity, adult-onset diabetes, etc.
Supposedly saccharin was proven back in the 80's to cause cancer, but to this day it is still sold to the general public and has yet to be banned by the FDA. Same could be said about MSG, but that's another topic for another time. |

| It can be done, I don't use sugar and I don't really make it up in my eating habits. The most I take in is already in things like milk or soy milk. Other than that, nada. Good luck with the stance :2thumbs: |

| We've had to cut sugar out of alot of what we eat in my house...wife's borderline diabetic and hypoglycemic so low fat, low carbs, low sugar, lots of veggies, lean meats, fruits. All in moderation. I cant even drink anything with sugar in it now without feeling like I am drinking pure syrup! My ONLY(right) weakness is diet drinks.....and sex, but that's another story :lol8: |
