I have been checking out TR's on this for a while and decided it was time to stop freeloading and start sharing a little.
I went down to Coyote Gulch a few weeks ago. I hiked in from Red Well to the confluence and back. The weather was perfect, temps in the high 60's. I was surprised to find that there weren't too many people in the canyon. Most of the people I saw came in from Forty-Mile and were camped a couple miles up from the Escalante. I camped downstream from Lobo Arch in a relatively secluded spot.
Here are some pictures. |

Thanks. I have a new appreciation for people who post TR's on this thing. It took me a while to figure out how this all works and even longer to resize the pictures. I would guess that other people are more efficient than I am though.
I have done some other trips more recently. If I can get motivated and find the time I will try to post up some more on here.
This site is top notch. :2thumbs: |

| Beautiful photos - thanks for sharing! I had a great trip through there last fall - didn't see a single person. It's a popular trip, but if you time it right, you can get some pretty good solitude! |
