My F650GS is dead. Left out in the open all winter (doh!), any quick things I should check before giving the shop a call? Its been plugged into a wall charger for the last 3 hrs. Seems to make a whining sound when I turn the ignition on, but starter never clicks over, no juice to lights, horn etc...
BTW, is BMW of SLC still around? There website was down, and the number programed into my cell just rings and rings... |

| Joe, don't take the bike in before replacing the battery. If you don't put a battery tender on those when storing for a long period of time, the battery takes a shiz. Even if the battery charges, it probably won't hold one. I'd replace it and then go from there |

Yeah and I would go to R&R before any other place. Prolly is a battery issue.

x2 what reedus said
get a new battery
those things are uber easy to trouble shoot
so get a battery and go from there.
oh drain and refill tank too
once its starts spinning, fresh fuel will give it a fighting chance at running |
