Tzanks verrrry much, heh. Whenever I'm asked where I'm from I say New York. Whenever I'm asked what accent I have, I say Brooklyn. I spent half of my life in the U.S. but you can't hide your roots, heh.

Abirken where did you stay in Brooklyn? Did you see Williamsburg? I remember it when it was still a quiet neighborhood, before all these weird folks moved in, heh. There was a cool punk bar on North 6th called Sweet Water Tavern, with cheap alcohol (i think a pitcher of Guiness was $12), broken chairs, wobbly tables, jukebox with loud music (Ace of Spades and such, heh), pool table in the back room. We played soccer with some crazy Argentinians to the sounds of "ole, ole, ole, ole", and in the summer, cockroaches would roam free under the tables, heh. That was our great watering hole and the last holdout. Now it's a classy restaurant with wine and crap. This sucks.

I am QUEEN of seedy punk rock bars........those are my roots. :) Didn't go to any while in NYC, which I was kinda bummed about. I ended up hanging out with my lesbian friends so of course they took me to all the gay bars. Ate some AWESOME Argentinian food in Brooklyn. WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! HAHA!! But I've been into some awesome hole in the wall places in Houston, Austin, London, Denver, Chicago.......when I walk in and hear Motorhead or Dead Kennedys playing, then I feel at home and ready to throw down some beers!! :rockon:

So true my dear!! But let me tell ya, I've witnessed a girl/girl arguement with those two before. MEOW!!!! HISS HISS!!! RARRRR!! Was pretty scarey stuff. Over all though, one of the happiest couples I've seen when they aren't PMS at the same time. :2thumbs:
