| I have a collection of bombillas and modified gourds myself. I used to drink it every day but haven't had it in some time. Coffee is easier to come by. Yerba Mate is good stuff for sure. |

This is my set up.
There is a small store here in Ogden that sells Yarba, the mates and bombillas. I wanted a gourd mate, but they didn't have one. Had to ebay it. |

| I've always wondered what would happen if I got pulled over and had a bombilla and mate cup sitting on the front seat. With a baggie of yerba too. :ne_nau:  |

Rev- Mate is a very popular tea in South America.
I find the only way to make it drinkable is to add a lot of sugar. |

I tried it with sugar... kind of.
I grabbed a pinch of the white stuff from the can, added it to my cup.
The first drink tasted kinds wierd. Second drink got spit out. Wasn't sugar after all. Good ole NaCl |

| I've always wanted to try this (Mate) b/c I hear the nutritional value (antioxidants?) is awesome however I haven't had the chance to find it locally. Hopefully if I end up in S. America in '09, I'll have the opportunity to try some. :2thumbs: |
