Great video, nice spin on a tragedy. Hope the crew isn't too bummed about the recovery instead of rescue. I hate it when things take a turn for the worst and you can't get time back. Check into your homeowners ins. Some policies cover stuff like this.

Nothing worse then recovering the mangled body of a beloved friend.

I'm assuming this was the same day I was on Lake Powell for these insane winds. We had three foot + waves in the main channel, it was nuts! I was out for 12 days and this happened to be my only day off... good thing I did because I don't know what our boat man would have done without me helping him keep the boat from banging into rocks/cliffs while we waited for our crew to come out of the days canyon. It was pretty intense getting everyone out of the lake, we were throwing ropes to pull them in while trying to keep the boat from getting smashed on the rocks. It was by far the most intense "rest" day I've ever had. Sorry about the camera Dan but the vid is very entertaining... How many pairs of shoes does Dave have anyway, and how many times does he change them in the vid? :lol8:

I finally got around to watching the Video. Bummer man. One thought on the sending "money in lieu of flowers." I am happy to accept all the donations since no group will need to remove President Bush. It will be done by constitutional mandate. I hope Alaska treats you well and maybe next year for Kolob.

So sorry for your loss! Great video, and video talent. I hope you plan to show us some of Alaska.

Have a great summer. :2thumbs:
