| Growing up as kids in Louisiana, my parents used to take us on trips out West nearly every summer. Now - this was before the I-10 was available and you had to use Route 66 to travel. :cool2: There were always little road side attractions of this nature. I know a lot of those little towns virtually dried up after the Interstate went in. |

| In our travels around the country, we avoid the Interstate for the most part. The smaller roads have less traffic, better scenery and all sorts of attractions. The interstate is only for when we need to go faster and enjoy the bumps. |
