I started with the idea of taking just a little hike and ended up on Mt Olympus peak. This is the first time I've ever summited Olympus. I heard it was chalanging and I heard right. The knee deep snow mad it even more so. Damn, I forgot my camera so no pics. This is peak number 2 this winter. A month ago I summited the peak just north of Dog lake from Big cottonwood canyon. Damn no camera again. I seem to forget that alot. I'm getting to like the winter peak bagging.

Geez I hope there's going to be less snow tomorrow. But I looked at the front and it's quite white, heh. I'm going to take my cam, hopefully nice visibility in the morning.

Last time I did the same, I so wished I had my snow shoes. I'd recommend renting a pair from REI or some other place if you don't have any. It's totally worth having them when you cross into the deep snow up top.
