Not much action here in the Geo-forums. Guess I will need to start posting some adventures here.
Here is a geocache I found today.

After some discussion in the UTAG forums about hitting this, a few of us decided the time was right.
I got off of work at 5:30 am crashed for a few hours, up at 10:20, picked up Sportsman at 10:45 and at the trail head shortly after 11:00.
The others with the ropes were a bit ahead of us, due to me sleeping in a few minutes, but we met up on top of the rock.
Getting up was a bit tricky, due to the remaining snow on the north side, but not too bad. My gps said it was 1.23 miles from the trailhead and nearly 1500' of elevation.
It was great to get out, got the cache without any problems.
Now i just have to get thru another 12 hour shift starting at 5:30 this evening! Amazing what some do for a cache. Sleep is over-rated anyway - all you do is lay there.

| Cool! When I first started geocaching back in 2001 I tried placing some caches like this. But didn't have many find it. Maybe I need to get back into geocaching again. It's been awhile. |
