Whenever I go with Bo I always tell my wife "Don't worry, I'm bringing along my own personal rescue team".
I tell hubby the same! That same day I hit a deer on the way there... on the back of the rover... looked back and then front and there were 2 more directly in front of me. I don't know how I missed those! Pure Luck! It was a very bad day!
Bad day?! It was almost a bad day for two of us! Dang! G has told me on more than one occasion that the 1 million$ policy will come in handy...I'm just waiting until he tells me what my cut is? :roflol: I'm certainly no "one man rescue team" I don't think? I just want to make sure I make it to dinner at a reasonable hour, get home and take a shower and have great ***************------------------- with my wife! :haha:
You could have never fallen! I would never even consider you could fall :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: No way... Now I feel bad. You almost fell saving me. :ne_nau: How sweet.
You better get it in writing from him. You know my hubby and money. :lol8: |

Like I said, "everything in my power will I do"...it's been a lot of years that we've hiked together! You've grown on me and I don't want to miss out on many more years to come! :five:

I am getting ready to go on a slickrock mountain - scrambling adventure... in the morning....
http://climb-utah.com/Zion/guardian.htm
And after going across some slickrock last weekend, similar to what I have done so many times  and my shoes slid off like ice --- :ne_nau:
:eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:
I still never thought to look at them.... then the other day I was in Bo's store and asked if my shoes were maybe worn... :ne_nau: keeping in mind that I hate :frustrated: new shoes and really like old  comfortable ones.... He said as long as the rubber dots were still on them I am good :2thumbs: ---- I just looked at them :eek2: and there are NO :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: dots left on the whole top quarter of the shoes where my feet were on the rock!
No wonder I slipped... so those of you who like old comfy shoes.. check your dots. :cool2:
And those same shoes are the ones I have to wear tomorrow because they are still the best I have. Cross your fingers I come back!
 unless you don't want me too.... :nono: |
