"De boatmen dance and de boatmen sing, de boatmen up to ebryting, And when de boatmen come on shore, dey spend dere money and dey works for more. When de boatmen blows his horn, look out ole man, your daughter's gone. He stole my sheep, he stole my shoat, Chuck'em in a bag and tote'em to de boat. Dance boatmen, dance. Oh dance boatmen dance. Dance all night 'til broad daylight, go home wid de gals in de mornin."

[i]An excerpt taken from Roy Webbs new book "Riverman, The Story of Bus Hatch". An 1840's Minstrel Song.

At the recent 25th anniversary of "Highwater" I had the opportunity to meet and talk with several authors (Including Roy Webb, and Brad Dimock), and my renewed interest in "blind exploration", and the reflection of times past, yet the potential of adventures spurned has been renewed! I look forward to "What next?, Don't Know, Who Cares,"
