It's been so long since I have bitched about this, so I thought I would bring it up again. I got gas in my car last night and it was only $2.48 per gallon, it's kind of funny, but this seemed like a great price.

Ya, I'm really liked the recent price decrease. The place near me is at $2.45, and I've seen it as low as $2.41.

Costco is selling it for $2.35 I think.

I'm still paying well over $3/gallon for diesel, and I hear it's even more expensive up north. I wish Sam's Club sold diesel, then it would be worth driving my truck up there this winter instead of my car, since I have to work in Provo sometimes.

I saw a sign about 2 days ago for diesel fuel in Sandy that was $3.69 per gallon... why is that sooo much more expensive?

Since we bought my Hyundai we drive the wife's SUV very little, mostly locally around WJC. So not only are we putting the higher miles on the least expensive vehicle to own and operate, we're preserving the resale on the more expensive vehicle.
And I get to use the SUV for forays into the mountains. Best of both worlds.
I do wish I had a truck, though....

Do any of you remember the good ole days when a gas war would erupt between gas stations and you could fill your tank up at 24 cents a gallon?? :roflol: Of course you don't but it used to happen. Now the gas war is between us and them, they take the price per gallon to limit, back it down two cents and then we're supposed to feel good about it. Right now I'm using my missonary daughters little saturn, it gets two and half times the milage of my Cherokee. When she gets back I'll be sh.t our of luck.

It's all Bush's Fault -- just like Hurricane Katrina, Global Warming, the Train Bombings in Spain, the Subway Bombings in London, El Nino, and the Tsunami that hit Indonesia are all Bush's fault too. :frustrated:

It's also Bush's fault that I'm not rich and fat. It's Bush's fault!! Blame it on Bush!! It's all his fault!! Everything negative or bad in this world right now is Bush's fault!!!!!!!

I haven't noticed what the prices have done around here lately. I haven't filled up since Oct. 6th.

I've decided that instead of heating our house this winter we will just go to the mall to get warm

:roflol: That's not a bad idea! They have nice restrooms, and food. I'm sure you could probably live there for most of the winter -- kinda like Tom Hanks in Terminal.
