| both are good brakes, I would say try both out for feel then make a decision |

| I have hayes on all of my bikes. The new code 7 avids are very good and they offer more modulation compared to hayes. If you are looking for cable opperated disk brakes , than the avids are definitely the best. |

| I have to agree with the try em both out deal. My personal pref is Hayes...8" rotors on the DH rig...sweet. I sell em both though..both brands are good :2thumbs: |
