We're going to attempt river surfing tonight with a wake surfboard.

We'll be at the Riverdale Wave at around 7:30. Hopefully it's not crowded, and hopefully this works.

It will be a fun experiment either way. We're looking for a couple of guys to help us out with throw ropes and such, we don't really know what to expect.

We'll have a dry suit, full body wetsuit, surfboard, a couple of helmets, neoprene socks, waterski ropes, and the camera.

We'll be figuring things out tonight, hopefully we'll be able to jump right on next time. It's possible we won't even need the ropes in the end, but who knows.

Here's a google maps link to where we'll be. Riverdale Wave

It didn't go as well as planned. We learned a few lessons. Tie off from the other bank.

The current kept pulling me to the right. I think it needs a tad more flow, too.

I am sorry I missed this, but it actually went much better than I had planned. That actually seemed really cool. Very creative.
