This is a rod I built for a friend. It is a Sage LL 3wt 7'9" 3pc rod. Very fun to build and will be even more fun to fish!
Here are the specs: I made the handle with burl on each end. It is a bigger size grip for the big hands that will use it. The reel seat is a Struble D27 down locking reel seat with a vera insert. The guides are single foot titanium wrapped with scarlet and trimmed with black and gold. |
