As some may recall from a previous thred, I am an amature tin whistle player and enjoy playing Irish traditional music (ITM). And finally there is an ITM session in Ogden. I had known that there were sessions on Salt Lake, but never want to drive that far.

Last night I had a chance to go to this session and had a great time. There wasn't many people there (about six, that's why I'm trying to get more people) but it was great having people to play with. We had tin whistles galore, mandolin, guitar, harp and a couple of uilleann pipes playing.

If anyone is interested in joining in next time, the session meets the last friday of every month at the Universe City gallery at 2556 Washington Blvd. on Ogden at 6:30pm.

You don't need to play a traditional instrument, but I'm sure that acoustic is prefered.
