| Eric was in it last week. Had some water in the keeper, he had a hard time getting out of it... |

The keeper had waist deep water last week. Most potholes had knee'ish deep water. We were dumb and didn't bring wetsuits thinking it would be pretty dry. We ended up bailing early because there was a good chance there would be deeper water ahead. Had it been 90 degrees we would have gone on, in 60 degrees I got pretty chilled... wetsuit is advised.

P.S. You will have to build an anchor at the first rap (but that has been the case every time I've done the canyon). Our anchor from last year was either washed away or under water (the pothole we built it in was wet). Bring plenty of webbing. |
