Whats happening?! My name is Mike and I live in SLC UT. Great site you have here. I enjoy camping, especially in southern utah. My personal fav's are probably the san raphael swell and Capitol Reef NP. talk to ya'll later.

Welcome to the forum, Mike! The Swell is my favorite place to camp (and hike, 4x4, etc.) as well. What places do you frequent there?

me and my wife have a tradition every september to go to capitol reef. It has some sentimental value because of my father. In all the years I have been there last year was my first time doing the sulpher creek hike. It is my new favorite, second to the frying pan trail. We also enjoy escalante country for its solitude.

As far as the swell, My fav hike was probably Ding and Dang canyons, however I would not recommend in July!
