Snowkite Masters Comes To Utah
By Jill Adler on February 26, 2008
The 4th Annual Snowkite Masters heads to Skyline, March 1-2.
Snowkite enthusiasts from around the globe are expected to participate in this weekend of freeriding, freestyle exhibition, and racing.
Skyline, known as one of the premier locations for snowkiting, is located at the top of Fairview Canyon in Sanpete County, about 1.5 hours from Salt Lake City. Skyline has it all: large flats that are suitable for beginners on up to slopes and cornices for the seasoned pro, all with access inches from a parking lot with a toilet facility.
Registration is free for all Freeriding Snowkiters and gains access to the prize pool and Après Ski Grill n’ Chills. Competing snowkiters can sign up for the Kiter X, Winduro & Sick Bird challenges for a chance at bigger prizes and the cash purse. Register for the event at snowkitemasters.com. |

Anyone going to this? If this storm dosent dump at the resorts, I'll be there. I took a few hours of kiting lessons in Costa Rica a few weeks ago, I'm addicted!
Anyone know where I can rent a kite around here? |
