Snow Canyon State Park officials will lead a tour through the lava tubes at the park in Ivins on Saturday at 10 a.m. The two-mile round trip hike is limited and registration is required. Call 435-628-2255 to register.

| I would actually do that if I was not hiking in the Grand Canyon that day! I did not even know there was lava tubes there! |

Thanks, ICE! A tour would be great! That way, I could know all the entrances and all the tubes. I know of a couple. It's cool to drop down three levels and then, have everyone turn out the flashlights. The darkest I have ever been in my life!
p.s. wear at least, a HAT! I cut my head open on a scrape on the lava.
Call, they may have helmets?
I would go, but laid up with Knee surgery recovery. Got therapy session today at 4. yuck! Can't wait to get back out there. Let me know if they publish a little handout or MAP? That would be awesome!
