Hi Everyone!
I decided its about time to make some hiking contact friends since that is the way that I've found some of the most amazing hikes I've ever been on!
I've lived in Utah my whole life and I absolutely hiking, four-wheeling, and photographing all of Utah, especially Southern Utah.
I don't get to go hiking as much as I'd like since I'm a senior in college but I'm hoping to make a return trip to the Cedar Mesa in the Spring, and I'm going on a backpacking trip to Moab over Easter...anyone got any great places to visit in either of these locations? |

Welcome aboard. :2thumbs:
I'm planning a trip for Cedar Mesa for the next few weeks. Cirrus is working an itinerary too. I'll post up some information when I get it all nailed down.
Check out the hiking section, there are a couple of good threads on Moab right now as well. |

Hey, welcome happyhiker!
Like Carpey says, I'm working on a trip to the Cedar Mesa area, too. Don't really have any suggestions for anything, though, cuz being so many hours away I don't get to Utah nearly as much as I'd like! (I'm pretty far north.) Never backpacked around Moab (just day hikes & bikes), and this will be my first real trip into the Cedar Mesa area. Planning a long, leisurely trip through Grand Gulch (about 5-6 days) at the start of April. I've got to confirm details, too - especially how to get back to the rental car when I get out... Mmmm, looking forward to it!
Whatever you get up to, write about it here, and make sure to post pics! |
