5 day waiting period sounds reasonable. I would also like to see them mandate the straps be pink. I hear complaints that several key detonations were missed due to them pulling the wrong strap at the wrong time.
I also think it might be a bit too hard for a child to use. So going with a lubricated hinge design is much better that a ripcord IMO. These simple steps will go a long way towards solving family disputes and political affairs.
