| I have been looking at that scream frame as well. But since it has been discontinued, I was afraid that I might not have a warranty or be able to buy new bearings. |

| Yeah, the 1800 dollars covers the frame and shock. With a downgraded shock it is cheaper, according to the website. Still, less expensive than the Cove Shocker, Yeti 303, etc. |

I had my heart set on a Scream years ago...even had one on order with one of my suppliers...they sold it from under me, which is when I got my RM9 monster rig....still want a Scream...still looking for one.
But the new ones ROCK! |

| Didn't the Scream used to come with a 24" rear wheel? Do they still offer it that way? Yeah the scream is very very beefy, beautiful bike. |

Yes it did, which is the reason why I bought my Rocky Mtn RM9 - its set up with a 24" rear 26"front....a bad motorscooter! That's how I'll set up the Scream when I find one too! Great for dropping over cliffs & stuff! |

| scream is ok...i just don't think i've ever want a 45 pound bike...it'd be really hard to build that lighter...as far as the new banshee dh, i've heard good things about then, but again...i wouldn't pay that for a frame. anyone can come in my shop and get a transition blindside with a floater for 1650 |

...my Rocky RM9 is sitting right at 50#...yeah it's heavy, but it's a blast to ride DH style so the Scream would be no problem :nod: |

yes you can, but you'll need to run an e-type derailleur with it. I'm a transition dealer in orem(327 e. 1200 s. Suite 5, north of best buy next to curves). stop in sometime |
