Nice clear shots. I see most were shot at 400mm, what lens did you use?
The badger with a 200mm must have been fairly close.

A lot of shots are with a Canon 400/5.6. This give me reach and mobility. The badgers were actually on the side of the road ripping out pavement (no kidding) to dig out a snake. There were 3 of them. Poor light though and I only got a couple of shots from the truck that did not have too much motion blur.

My other main wildlife lens now is an old manual focus Nikon 800/5.6. Takes good picks but is one big heavy beast.

This is one of a very select few I've managed to shoot handheld with this beast.

Oh and older stuff may have been shot with my old Minolta setup. Getting harder to remember as the years go by.

Love the Ermine, I have ran across them only 3 times. 2 of which I had camera in hand. Got a picture of it running away, then the other time I was swapping lenses....

Amazing shots man! The 2nd one with the weasel eating the rodent is my fav. :2thumbs:
